Broken Biscuit
Productions was formed in
mid-2002 by Martin Lejeune and Richard B.
Brookes whilst producing a web based
audio drama entitled 'Jedied'
This would have shown the adventures of
Hal and Dave, two reject Jedi living on
the planet Corellia thousands of years
before the events of the star wars films.
Well not adventures so much as them
getting drunk... The audio drama was an
experiment in itself. None of the cast
were in the same room nor the same town
and in some cases not even the same
continent.
However after several attempts
and a few lovely trailers the project was
put too one side indefinitely until
recently... [more on that later!]
In August
2003 Martin started work on a film
project, The short lived 'Boj:
The Vampire Hunter' was an
unfunny Buffy Fan Film about a bloke who
would fight Vampires, Monsters, Passing
Ruffians and the odd Gentleman. aided by
his mentor Towlman [A middle-aged man who wore an
orange towel on his head for no good reason.] and his inept
half-brother Evan. The short was about
80% completed but due to scheduling
conflicts and growing disinterest from
certain parties the fan film was never
finished and is never spoken of. ever.

'Flour'
was the first completed project. The
six-minute short documented what happened
when genetic tomfoolery leads to baking
products becoming hallucinogenic and the
actions and inaction's of those after the
last bag in the country... This was
produced as part of Martin's GNVQ in
Media Production and was the first to
feature several key Biscuit players, Alex
Gray and Tom Taylor. Its premiere was at
the Cube cinema in Bristol on the 17th
March 2004. No more of that Self Raising
Shit indeed! [Flour Page]
After
completing the GNVQ Martin and Alex were
bored. they took inspiration and decided
to write Noel and Edmond and The
Search For Eternal Life. A film
in which its titular characters are
bored. To help cure this boredom they
asked a man trapped in a nearby drain if
he happens to know the secret to eternal
life, luckily for the plot he does!
however the duo have to seek out a crow
bar and free him from his drain based woe
before he will help the. NE™
was written and filmed in July
2004 and featured Dave Brain as Jeff, the
all knowing Jeff. Although a good script
the limited resources of just two guys
and video camera didn't really come out
as planned. It was filmed in various
locations including, Exmouth, Exeter,
Bristol, U.K. and Ballarat Australia.
Lately the
team have been working on 'You've
Been Raged' a post apocalyptic
comedy about flesh eating Train Spotters.
The film was in production for all of
2005 and is currently being edited.
