Abridged was a short sketch I shot back in
April '07 mainly as an experiment to see how much I
could move a lightweight DV camera without it looking
too wobbly after recent experience filming some local
bands. I found I had quite a lot of freedom and was able
to get some quite interesting shots by just holding the
camera or using the tripod to balance it in equal ways.
This is not a call for
kids to stop listening to all the sensible people who
tell them to use a tripod at all times, more an example
of before you can break the rules, you have to learn
them.

The
story follows a bloke and his mate who is trying to
help him get over the fact his girlfriend has turned
out to be a cheating bitch. But having a nice game
of Pooh Sticks. It was completely improvised on
location and always seems to get a laugh.
